I think I just fucked myself with buying the new Nice Boys album

I am listening to some tracks that were made past their 7"s and I am like, "Damn you Mr. Exploding Heart." I hope I didn't just waste 10 dollars on buying a piece of shit. I left the record over at Zach's house. Has anyone listened to it? Does it sound too much like Bad Company?

Just pretend that it was a bottle of cheap, bad wine. Pour it down the drain and forget about it.

I sold it back already. Sorry dude, but I really needed some staples.

$10 staples? You mean like metal staples? Or like food-n-life-supplies staples? Because if you pay $10 for metal staples, you are living LARGE, mah man. Hi on the H.A.W.G.!!!

Or else you bought more staples than there are humans on Earth.

...in which case, what the living fuck ARE you attaching with them things, Dostoyevsky?

Well, staples and a Murphy's. I seem to have forgotten to mention the Murphy's. So it's more like $8 of staples. Oddly enough, the staples are also vinyl.

Vinyl? Are you stapling together albums in the hope of making more rock? E.g., 2 stapled albums = 2x the rock?

God forbid you manage to staple 10. Judas Priest, WATCH OUT!

No, no--the staples are made from old metal records, that's why they're so expensive. $8 only bought a handful--I'll have a week's worth of totally hardcore reports, and then it'll be back to stealing Chris's shit to get my fix.

Damn it Zach, I wish stapling the album together would bring more rock to it. Maybe I should staple an Oblivions record to it. Or maybe I should staple back the thing you keep in a basket that was born with you, your penis.

I was very disappointed when I first heard it, but a lot of it grew on me. I played side 1 quite a bit before I stored it away. Haven't had the urge to hear it since.

I have so far heard the first 2 and a half tracks. I don't like the way the vocals sound on "Teenage Night", prefer the 7" version a lot more. A lot more. I will give it a complete go but maybe I will have to see it along with my Country Teasers album that came out this year.
