Usually when I post something the slighest bit sincere or altruistic I get mocked or ignored, but...

I recently landed a job at a Major Alternative New York Publishing House (specifically, one of its more obscure, youthful imprints) and I basically sit at a desk, read manuscripts, and then pass up the cream in the rough and toss out the chaff with the bath water, etc. We already have a couple music-related books coming out this year, but I'm supposed to be looking for more. I remember scattered mentions on here of books-in-progress (specifically one on Roky Erickson and co.). Are they finished?

Obviously, I can't promise anything, but if things work out I'll feel like my two years of reading ILM haven't been totally parasitic.
