Y'know, I think Izzy is the most talented dude of the GnR world, but that Ju Ju Hounds was a bit of a drag for me while Gilby's disc had a couple decent Cheap Treak-type pop tunes.

the Ju Ju Hounds album is some great Stones-with-Keith-singing-every-song type shit. I love the instrumental coda to "Take A Look At The Guy." how do Izzy's other solo albums compare to it?

speaking of guns gone solo, isn't the first bash and pop album pretty much the same album as the ju ju hounds album?

stradlin has a nice voice. raspy in a soothing sort of way.

what's the bash and pop album?

Charlie Howard (the sphinx), Saturday, 16 September 2006 04:00 (nineteen years ago)

anyone ever hear a Slash's Snakepit record? I haven't. As a matter of fact, I haven't heard any of these, but I'm betting they all suck.

Butt Dickass (Dick Butkus), Saturday, 16 September 2006 04:17 (nineteen years ago)

both crap

what's the bash and pop album?

tommy stinson's first post-replacements thing, or second-to-last pre-gnr thing, depending how you're counting. came out around the same time as ju ju hounds album, more or less.

haha Samantha 7 rules but I am comfortable with that assessment.
