Because they asked for it.

Taking bets on the 20-minute Eurodisco overkill remake of "The Banks of the Nile"...

(My money, incidentally, is firmly on the deceased.)

Okay, that's downright scary.

Denny by a mile, though I don't mind Shears much -- precisely because I've only heard Scissor Sisters a few times. They're probably best kept at arm's length for appreciation.

wait, that's the scissor sisters? i have only seen them on snl. they were horrible. were they all in swing bands or ska bands ten years ago? whatever happened to fischerspooner(sp?)?

― scott seward (scott seward), Saturday, 16 September 2006 17:29 (twenty years ago)

Fischerspooner released a second album that nobody knew about (including probably themselves). And yes, that's the Scissor Sisters all right.

which of the scissor sisters is most likely to fall down the stairs?

the fotheringay record, and fairport's rising for the moon, have sleeves so hokey, i actually delayed buying them for years. is there a thread for that, something like "records with covers so lame you'd be embarassed to have someone browse thru you collection"
