I just heard "I Think I Need a New Heart" by Magnetic Fields in a dog-food commercial.

Is this a sign of the apocalypse? Can anyone else share a similar harrowing experience?

Merritt has no problem selling songs for commercials. Strange Powers was in a SoCo commercial awhile back, though that gets immediate forgiveness, being directed by Eroll Morris, imho.

I made a post about this when the commercial first came out, but I wasn't surprised. I remember back when 69LS was released seeing a bunch of pictures of him and his chihuahua, Irving. The guy likes dogs. Maybe they gave him some free dog chow or something.
