So I think "Hey, let's find the Greatest Hits DD of recent vintage. I do have a "Staring at the sea" Video, but it's a bit boring up to "The Walk" or thereabouts.
And lo, I find it on e-bay for £2.70 + £3 p&p (bid ends)
It nips handily from "Boys don't cry" and "a forest" (I think) to "Let's go to bed" and the fun stuff.
Heh, I envy me sometimes. I get to see Amber and Alice as they see this stuff for the first time!

Oh well. The video "Staring at the sea" had the best sound of any video I ever owned. Included the 'alternate' mix of Love Cats. And it was £5 so hey.

The version I got doesn't have the "second or two of other songs" but does snip off the first fragment of some songs (Boys don't cry, A Forest, etc) and it does not have the extra videos you get by going downdownleft etc.. And the love Cats has a hangover of sound from the Video Diary bit, it's not bad as it fits with the song but still.
As I said before, those videos had great sound and sodoes this DVD. Being taken from the mastersof the VHS is not the same as being taken fromthe VHS, naturally.
The kids did love it, of course, they hadn't seen "Love Cats" before, but their favourites remain "Inbetween Days" and "A Forest"
