I don't get it!

The history books had it he sneered after the performance of "Jet Boy" by the New York Dolls, "Mock Rock"

But there it is on the "Old Grey" compilation.

Is this the rewriting of history back to what actually happened, along the "Syd Barett had a perfectly normal conversation with Dick Clarke on Bandstand" lines?

I think that performance, even though it is mimed, is the highlight of that DVD.
