Who never slowed down?

Most punk and metal bands tend to slow down over their lives: Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Metallica, Bad Brains, 108, Youth of Today (and other Ray Cappo projects), even Earth Crisis. I can think of only one metal band that got faster and faster thru the albums: Slayer. What punk and metal bands refuse to slow down?

X Post
'God Hates Us All' sounded fairly speedy to me, esp. the title track. Their new one is probably not a departure into Slint/Codeine slow-core.

Da Brudders Ramones' discovery of hardcore- four years after the event- was funny; 'Too Tough to die'featured 'speedy' gems such as 'Warthog'. This was twice the pace of their previous 5/6 albums but still only about 75mph.
I love the Ramones btw.

The Cardiacs are way more intense now than the were back in the eighties. That latest double live album is brutal. Brutally awesome that is.

Iron Maiden: Never that fast to begin with, really.
Misfits: You're totally right, Earth AD was seriously faster/harder than stuff like Cool/Cough.
Ramones: But it is commendable that they heard hardcore and sped up as a response. Too bad Johnny was a republican.
I must check out the Cardiacs.
Slayer: I think the case with them is they slowed down a little, and have eventually sped back up, while never straying far from their goofy formula.
