Help Identify A Song ( Lyrics "New York, New York)

Sometime in the 80's we went to the disco and the DJ played a song the lyrics went something like New York, New York and it repeated the same verse. I already have the Nina Hagen, Dogg Pound, Frank Sinatra and Adam Ryan songs but none of those songs are the right one. The song was more techno/punk It's hard to describe it but usually right after that song the DJ played another song by Nitzer Ebb. Other songs that were popular around the same time include Venus by Bananarama, Nasty Boys by Janet Jackson, Tarzan Boy, Blue Monday and so on. This is driving me crazy if you can help me, thanks a million.
