Have we done this yet? For a start: The Swans, the Field Mice, Cat Power, Le Tigre, 16 Horsepower, Animals That Swim, Boss Hog, Flipper, Jesus Lizard, The Animals, Headless Chickens, Boomtown Rats, Mouse on Mars. I have the feeling most "animal" bands are quite good, don't you?

Missed the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs last night. My friends from the Hatchbacks and the Regrettes are in a band called the Kodiaks. And there is something in reference to a Harry Crews novel in our name, without being too obvious. And of course, the Deadly Snakes, the Black Snakes, the Apemen, Bantam Rooster, the Coyote Men, the Detroit Cobras, Guitar Wolf. Oh, yes, and Monkey Wrench.
