What would a Girls Aloud cover of a British Sea Power song be like?

Um, I dunno. I would prefer Sugababes to do the cover instead!!

it'd be like better than a BSP cover of a girls aloud song.

Yeah but WHITE BOYS WITH GUITARS doing "ironic" covers of pop songs always is a massive dud.

more interesting if they do the one that sounds like Nation of Ulysses rather than one of the two dozen that sound like Echo & the Bunnymen

ILM New Answers as it would look under Lex's governance:

Ciara is great (1 new answer)
Beyonce is great (3 new answers)
Cassie is breathtaking (2 new answers)
Paris is important (no new answers)

I lolled!

wordy rappaport (EstieButtez1), Thursday, 2 November 2006 16:10 (eighteen years ago)

hahahah paris is important.

seriously, i'm willing to accept that there are people out there who think her music might be worth listening to, but the fact that she's been given the opportunity to release music through fame and notoriety alone renders her musically redundant in my book.

Charlie Howard (the sphinx), Thursday, 2 November 2006 16:13 (eighteen years ago)

I could forgive Paris if she didn't, y'know, release some of the blandest of the bland pop going around these days.

son, people died fighting rockism.

so...not the music itself then, that must be completely irrelevant to the importance or otherwise of her songs

Paris Hilton album has outscored both Fergie's and Janet Jackson's on metacritic, fact fans

banrique (blueski), Thursday, 2 November 2006 16:15 (eighteen years ago)

To be fair, Fergie's and Janet's albums are much worse. And Fergie is far more loathsome than Paris.

wordy rappaport (EstieButtez1), Thursday, 2 November 2006 16:17 (eighteen years ago)

lex you don't even like her music!

you have said she can't sing, anyway, but that it's not important cos she's great pop or something.

benrique (Enrique), Thursday, 2 November 2006 16:23 (eighteen years ago)

fergie ferg's album is great, not as great as paris's though (but what is). i really want to hear janet's.

one year passes...

Girls Aloud's latest b-side is named after a Hadouken! lyric. Someone please stop music, thanks.
