Drumset question! Pacific vs. Yamaha??

Hey - I wanted to get an opinion on something here...I know virtually nothing about drums, and after like 10 years, I'm finally in the market to buy some. So, because I know nothing, I've been doing as much research as I can to learn, and it basically comes down to 2 kits:

Pacific LX
Yamaha Tour Custom

Those work for my price range and for the style I'm looking for. Do you guys have any thoughts on either of these kits or which one you'd pick?

I say cruise Craigslist for whatever comes up. Tons of sets in the Chi list including a Sonor that I crave.

Tama gunmetal gray anyone? eBay here I go...

First of all, what is your price range and style? Second of all, I wouldn't get a Yamaha, no matter what. Pacific I'm not too familiar with.
