Seth Josel should be performing one piece of mine in an 8 pm concert at Tonic ($10). He's playing works by composers including Alvin Curran, Hans Koch, and Gavin Bryars (more details here). He's playing with Robert Poss from Band of Susans and Rhys Chatham's ensemble. My piece is a short and relatively simple open-score thing I did last year for electric guitar and drone.

the only thing I've heard by Josel are James Tenney's pieces in just intonation, and they're remarkable.

make sure somehow you get a good recording!

I have "Septet" and "Water On the Mountain... Fire In Heaven." Are there other Tenney recordings he's done?
