you misunderstand: 'boom boom boom boom, i want you in my room, we'll spend the night together, from now until forever.' a lyric from teh venga boys song fittingly entitled 'boom boom boom boom.'

trees (treesessplode), Monday, 6 November 2006 03:49 (nineteen years ago)

i totally forgot that one! the only one i remember is the vengabus cd single i bought at the drug store

That's not as good as the Paul Lekakis song they probably nicked it from: "Boom Boom Boom, let's go back to my room, so we can do it all night, and you can make me feel alright."

No idea about the track, but there is a recent track called "Harmonize" on the new Herbert album with male/female vocals repeating "up and down."

is it that 'funkacise' track from the 2 many djs mix? from memory that was smooshed together with 'french kiss' and a couple other tracks but it definitely has an 'up, and down' bit.

trees (treesessplode), Monday, 6 November 2006 18:10 (nineteen years ago)

i think that the 2manydjs track is a different version or edit of the song i'm talking about. but not positive.

trees (treesessplode), Monday, 6 November 2006 18:43 (nineteen years ago)

trees (treesessplode), Monday, 6 November 2006 19:23 (nineteen years ago)

There is a Gene Farris record that I have (I'll look it up when I get home, but I _think_ it's this one: http://www.discogs.com/release/43214) called 'The Sensous One' that is pretty standard filtered chicago disco house shit with some guy talking about fucking: 'up and down up and down up and down' in a kind of husky voice.
