I've never heard Nickelback. I think a couple of Spearmint tracks are great though. The question doesn't really make much sense though - since there's zero possibility of Spearmint getting into the charts and since you might as well say "Spearmint or Outkast" or "Spearmint or Shy FX" or anything else in the Top 40.

I'm kicking myself for not including Nickelback in Duel! actually. I said no, too American, and then suddenly they're all over the charts like measles. I might swap some no-hoper like the White Stripes for them, since the White Stripes are fairly harmless and the kidz seem all frothed up about Ver 'Back. Do they really sound like Creed?

YES THEY DO. Only they're slightly catchier, ie, there's one line in the song that I really like, but then they ruin it with the overly moany "This is how you remind me of who I really am" part, which has the potential to be cool if it was in a completely different song that wasn't trying so hard to be the mutant offspring of Pearl Jam and Staind.

Still not as bad as Drowning Pool, though...
