Obviously, all three Stax/Volt box sets. Surprisingly loaded with killer stuff, despite each of them having nine or ten discs.

- Ripple (self-titled, with "I Don't Know What It Is, But It Sure Is Funky")
- Joe Quarterman & Free Soul (self-titled)

All of the above have been reissued on CD.

And, if you still buy old vinyl, seek out BAIL OUT! FOR FUN and MINDFUL, both by Maxayn, from '74 and '73 respectively.
