Left Right Centre - Data

Aside from Kas Product and Neon Judgement, I've never heard of any of these groups. Does anyone know anything about any of them. He also put these compilations called 'A Tribute to FlexiPop" Vols. 1-5, But I haven't had time to listen to them. Is this music easy to find on vinyl? Where was it from? Any help would be appreciated.

Is this music easy to find on vinyl?

Not usually! Minimal Synth, Coldwave etc tends to go for a lot of money on eBay.

Where was it from?

all over, but particularly France, Germany, Belgium, Canada and a bit of New York, San Francisco and industrial towns throughout the continental US.

I'm just guessing though, I haven't heard of most of those.

Was this music mostly released on 7", 12", or LP?

Also, what is the relationship between this music and early EBM, goth, industrial?

again, I don't know those songs in particular, you may want to hang out here:

but generally, I find most of the flexi-pop stuff to fit in a weird crack between a few genres, some of it's DIY synth-pop/techno-pop or just failed synth-pop, some are genuinely experimental while others are just inept. There's already a minimal synth thread worth reviving.

In that list, monopol is the only band whos album (Weltweit) i would actually pay up for, and it wasnt cheap, but its one of my NDW-favourites, along with Grauzones self-titled album (cheaper and better). Ehh.. and the more minimal Tommie Stumpff and liaisons dangereuses (also cheap and easy).
