I know the lyrics, need help with the group??

If I rattle off some silly lyrics to a song from a few years back I am hoping someone could then tell me who sang it, and what CD I might find it on, plus the name of the song:

"I come from the water, I crawled up on the shore...."

That's all I know :-)
