I find it to be quite classic. So overly dramatic in ways...Especially when they break it down at the end, the little keyboard, flute riff thing. For some reason I can see it playing in the soundtrack to my movie as I walk down the city streets with it raining. Maybe im just a freak...

just heard the "extended version" of "The Sun Always Shines On T.V". Fantastic as well. I agree they have mastered the overly dramatic.

C of course. Blimey - ILM never ceases to amaze me with its capacity to bring up classics that I thought I was a bit mad for secretly loving.

"Living.." always was my fave off "Hunting High and Low" - towering title track notwithstanding. I think that those two songs were central in cementing the template for reviewing Aha for years to come - glacial, melancholic swoonsome pop that smacked of a life spent traipsing through scenic and dead romantic fjords. And then some. Though it has dated a wee bit.

I thought I didn't *need* to say anything -- everything on the first two albums is brilliant, including this. Yay!

And yes, the extended version of "Sun Always Shines" is utterly wonderful -- and I still own the 12"!

four years pass...
I heard Living a boys adventure tail remixed and upbeat(er) when in ireland, it was on a wrestling program, i think on UK sky, it was just the music, which i recognised, and then in the commercial break it was with words, funny, it was while the tarty ladies where parading around with their round-cards, "Living a boys adventure tale" .....they were not THAT nice....

Among the better album tracks on "Hunting High And Low" this one. The album was still way more patchy than "Scoundrel Days", though, which was crowded with wonderful album tracks.
