I got this album back in High School and at first I didn't like it, but then I came to love it. It's the album that Puffy dropped right after the whole trial and J. Lo thing, and is technically a solo album but is actually a compilation featuring all of the rappers and singers that were signed to Bad Boy Records at that time. This includes, G. Dep, Black Rob, Loon, Eightball and MJG, Mark Curry, the white rapper Kain, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, Cheri Denis and other random people. Because Diddy was trying to distance himself from the trial the entire album's production is very positive and triuphant sounding. It always makes me happy when I put it on after not listening to it for a looong time.
Black Rob, G. Dep and Loon kill this... but there are skippable tracks, especially the few RnB tracks...and a few Hip Hop tracks with annoying production...
I'm not saying it's a classic, just that I like it! A lot!
Christgau gave this album a scissor, for the song "That's Crazy" and I agree that's a great song, but I think there are other choice cuts on this worth a listen...

Hmm...um, I think I just assumed what it meant without seeing one of the actual threads...
Oh well, just take this as a spinoff of Defend the Indefensible...

CLASSIC :
Puffy + Black Rob + Mark Kain-Bad boy 4 life

G Dep-Child of the ghetto
8Ball & MJG + Puffy-Roll with me
Black Rob + G Dep + Puffy-That's crazy
CORNY BUT DOPE :

I can't remember if "special delivery" originally appeared on here or not..maybe it was just "let's get it"..anyway, those tracks above make it worth ownin'..i think the rest of it sucked but i can't remember anything else on it other than the "shiny suit man" skit aimed at THE LOX

I'll have to second "Bad Boys for Life" on account of that guitar sample, wherever it came from (anyone know?).
