Does anyone else remember this song from the early 80s? "Unalone" by Translator.

They usually get a mention, if at all, due to their semi-hit "Everywhere That I'm Not" but this song is cooler, seems less gimicky. also sounds a lot like XTC. I remember this song very well, I really dug it as a 16 year old, but I've never heard it since, and the band slowly faded after this song, which did get some airplay and a few MTV airings. They look pretty dorky, and the video is goofy, so not shocking that they didn't make it big, but they had a nice modern take on the 60s sound. Anyway, thanks for indulging my nostalgia.....

I loved Everywhere That I'm Not.

For some strange reason Pandora.com loves Translator. Make a Velvet Underground channel and odds are you'll hear Translator within an hour.
