Song ID: Hook sounds kind of like Prince's "When You Were Mine" chorus, but with some unexpected pizzacato in it, and the line "I dreamed that I dreamed" somewhere in the lyrics

I heard such a song on the radio. Probably some recent indie band but I was unable to identify it. Any help? I looked up the lyric and found Throwing Muses, but I'm almost positive it isn't them.

That song is called "Rough Gem" and is by the band Islands.

There's a really weird remix by Subtitle with indie rap over the top of it, as well.
