What was big in dancehall in the UK around 94? Not "made in the UK" per se, but what was being PLAYED in the UK.

Which doesn't really make any sense since all this production seems more dubstep (uh 21st century) oriented than early-90s-dancehall oriented, but this is dark and often grim and fits in with the atmosphere of the book perfectly.
