It's alright innit know what I mean, cos I found that Plan B to sound like some dodgey white boy rapping in a stupid accent that I hear all the rude boys talking in around my endz, but for some reason Jamie T, whilst av'in another odd accent, doesnt make me furious. In fact I think he is rather good, I dunno why cos they are both guitar based urban slangy London rap, but yeah have a look at the link, album is good as well!

I dunno, the single that used to get played on zane lowe before xmas sounded instantly despicable on ear-contact but I think I got the wrong side of him.

He does seem to have some kind of ideas of his own, and it mostly comes across as not entirely forced but it's an odd mixture (part Libertines and all that boring if not a bit offensively separatist white indie London Albion schtick, part DFA/Tom Vek/post-Beck?) that nonetheless seems to work for him.

Ha ha could not resist making a topic like this. But anyway I do not care what you say and how many swear words you use, I like Jamie T and I like his album, there are some alright songs on it, it's nothing amazing but it's listenable too..

..except, that is, unless you find his voice horrid, in which case I can see why you'd be furious. Doesn't annoy me though.

Dom's on point though, as always, all these London singers singing about being broke, fucking Lily Allen growing up on the mean streets of Islington. Slags!!

jamie t's accent is fake, that alex turner/pete doherty meets plan b (?) way of singing is unlistenable, the way he makes all his melodies horribly sing-songy seems contrived and crappy, and i dont get why i have to endure so much indie mediocrity at the same time. it seems unfair.
