I get "Livin' on a Prayer" pretty regularly, often for a couple of days at a time, to the extent where sometimes it keeps me up at night :(

Everytime i see something written down that scans in a trochaic dimeter (?) - duh,duh duh duh - i sing it to the chorus of 'Eton Rifles' weirdly, all the big Rock n'Roll trucking companies fit this schema; thus 'Redburn Transfer' Edwin Shirley' and Transam Trucking' also names like 'Gary Neville' 'Steven Gerrard' ad infinitum.... make it stop someone

Hey, losing sleep to Jon bon Jovi is no laughing matter!

Actually, posting that has caused "Livin' on a Prayer" to start playing in my head again... I think I might stick a pencil up my nose and swirl it around in the hope of ending this once and for all.

That Flashdance song, "What a Feeling" or whatever. "Take your passion, and make it happen..."

It's been popping into my head for years, literally like 5 years or so. Sometimes just for an hour or two, sometimes for days, weeks. It would be maddening if I weren't, well...

Into it.

Whitesnake - Here I Go Again. I once had it in my head for two days straight. Not good.

Top tip though. If you do get a song stuck in your head, simply sing in your head one you know better. Does work, honest.

other people's ringtones to thread

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 15:27 (eighteen years ago)

I think I might have mentioned this on another thread but Chemical Brothers "Let Forever Be". I like them well enough but not enough to consider myself a superfan. this song plays in my head pretty much all the time. it's always the same refrain too.

"Howww does it FEEEEEEL like to wake up in the sun? Howww does it FEEEEEEL like to shine on everyone?"

Luckily I really love this song so I don't really mind it getting stuck in my head. though people hate me cause i end up humming the same lines over and over again.

God, I get that Belinda Carlisle one too. Not just the chorus either, but also the part leading up to the chorus. I don't hate the song or anything, but it's so blah.
