I've kind of been on a Dre kick for a few days, and I realized that I haven't heard the "Aftermath Presents" album. Is it worth searching out? I couldn't find a thread on this album.

It's probably worth getting very cheap, I suppose (I don't own it, for the record.) It did get really bashed when it came out and I remember it sounding pretty forgettable, but I could see it being the kind of thing that sounds better now, farther away from lofty post-Chronic expecations.

"Been There, Done That" is great, especially for the beat over the tango scene in the video. (I belive this late got used for a Ras Kass song. Yes/No?) I Haven't heard the album.

Remember this is not really a Dr. Dre record. I've held on to the record as someone who loves almost everything Dre has produced. If you're like me and have studied his work, its worth getting. I should also note he only produces maybe 6 or 7 tracks. If your a more passive fan who might listen to The Chronic or 2001 once every year or two, its not that important; because as I said above its really not a Dr. Dre record.
