I just downloaded a version of St. James Infirmary that lasts for 2 minutes and 26 seconds. The file tag said the song was by Dave Van Ronk & Ramblin' Jack Elliot, yet I check on allmusic and no match for track length.

Does anybody know where this is from?

I would guess by the sound that the track was recorded after the mid-fifties.

(And it isn't by Louis Armstrong either!)

Looks like it may be Bobby Bland's version. I have it and mine comes up as 2:25, and was probably early 1960s.
