it makes my head hurt
if it was "music and identity" in some selfhood/persona/individuality definition then that would make more sense- it would be broad and vague and need explanation / context / unpacking, but it would basically work as a thread
but "music and self-identity", that's weird, like, really "self-identity", as in the pure ispeity of x=x, the fact of things being identical to themselves interests you in a musical context?
then there's the "ans self identity" thread title which is just formally weird, but it makes you think about "elf identity" too
