The 12" mix is killer.

The Richard X/Girls on Top I Wanna Dance With Numbers kraftwerk bootleg is killer.

Classic, classic, classic. I remember hearing this song in the car probably before I was old enough for school, and knowing that it rocked then.

Pretty much everything Whitney did before The Bodyguard is classic. This was reinforced when I heard that double disc hits set recently and was surprised at how well that material stood up. -- Graff

heh, I remember when radio stations refused to play "You Give Good Love", 'cos they thought the title (and implied act) was too rrrrracy...

this is one of the best songs ever yeah

and what (ooo), Friday, 2 February 2007 21:08 (eighteen years ago)

elvis costello did a guest-vj spot on mtv in 1986 and played the video for "how will i know." afterwards he said, "whitney, please, let me write you some good songs." the irony of course was that elvis had run out of good songs at exactly that moment.

but yeah, hated the song at the time, kinda dig it now. i'll take peppy whitney over faux-soaring whitney any day.

please don't mention "I will always love you" that shit sounds like someone is torturing a gitmo prisoner by waterboarding him and putting his muffled screams through as reverb.
