But I don't really use the shoulder strap much, so manbagger is probably inaccurate, too.

As for the topic:

I think the album-length collaboration is a big important thing in contemporary hiphop. It pushes the dynamic more toward a jazz-like "working group" thing. One good thing about J5, for example (yeah yeah I know - backpack.jpg) is that they actually do routines, not just one verse after the next after the next. That's mostly what people really mean when they say 'old school' in relation to J5, because the actual rhyme styles are not at all like Sugarhill or Busy Bee or whatever.
