Power pop compilations I've got:

DIY: US Power Pop I & II
Poptopia! Volume 1 (The 70s)
Yellow Pills Volume 1 & 2

What other power pop comp's should I check out? I've borrowed the Yellow Pills: Prefill from a friend, haven't listened yet.

Does it have to be old skool?

I like "The Sensitive Guy's Guide to Groovy Music" a lot.

Old school, new school, skip school - it's all good. I just tend to start at the beginning.

Oh yeah, well this ain't the beginning, more recent indie/power pop comp.

Might try "The Roots of Powerpop".

The other two Poptopia comps are pretty solid. I prefer the 90's one to the 80's one, although, there are some nice surprises in the 80's edition, like The Bangels "Going Down To Liverpool."

I'll second Bill's recommendation of the '80s/'90s Poptopias. There was an Aussie Power Pop comp called _Pop On Top!_ -- IIRC it came out in the US on Bomp. Don't recall if it was Perth-centric or not. Then, if you get really ambitious, there's the whole Hyped2Death series. . .
