A solid sophomore effort.

.. and there are three threads discussing the new Guardian music writer?

He ripped off the mask and it was his own alter ego.

leg bone"

Is that first track really called "Brianstorm"? If so, the title alone is the best thing they've ever done.

Dennis Potter obviously taking notes.

two months pass...
So, you gettingone?

had a listen the other day... 5/5 9/10 type scores are RIDICULOUS.

But much like the first, it's ALRIGHT.

The overblown praise for the 'mature' songwriting "oh my god he's only 21, but his imagination is HUGE ENUFF to imagine being (get this) a little bit older, and a housewife and writing sort-of vividly about it" talent is a touch OTFT too.

It's definitely their "Room On Fire" *shrug*

You know what?

I went down to HMV for to buy one, and the store is doing a "over the speakers promo play it all with DJ interjections" and I went "ah that's a bit dull, oh so is that one, and oh that's a bit unengaging actually HANG ON I'll JUST PUT IT BACK!!!"

Instore plays of things you are about to buy usually put me off I have to say. Maybe it's the jetlag.

But what do I know, I bought the Mark Ronson one.

(and I liked "Room On Fire")
