You must have done some serious digging to track down all those old records and information. So do you have all those Eddie Daye records on Dayco, or did you just find a publication that listed them? I used to go see Eddie perform with his wife Denise in the '90s at the old Gee's in Maryland. Also, I wish I could search by name of the artist and not just label on your site.

I do own quite a few records on the Dayco label. About 95% of the record scans currently listed on the website are records I own. As I mentioned above, I still DJ around Washington DC as well as abroad, so owning original records is beneficial (and it's become a bit of an obsession of mine).
If you visit the website, you can use the search feature to search by anything.....whether that be artist name, label, matrix number, or even notes.

one year passes...
Been trying to search for a go-go thread, but that word (even if you throw in "washington" or "d.c." or "music") seems impossible to search. Anyway, I bought these super-cheap on the street in Manhattan today; anybody know anything more about them?:
Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers - D.C.'s No. 1 Band: Live! (Future Sounds, 1986) They cover songs by Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, and James Moody, plus "Woody Woodpecker," "Harlem Nocturne", and "The Message".
E.U. (plus various artists?) - Rock Yuh Butt (Go-Go USA/TTED, 1988, sealed). I think this is probably a compilation, since only five E.U. songs are listed on the back, and there are also photos of five other go-go bands, though no songs listed for them. The cover of this one and the Chuck Brown one look extremely cut-rate -- almost cardboard Xeroxes, though at least this one is mostly yellow; maybe a quickie cash-in after "Da Butt" hit?
Slug-Go Slug-Go Live (TTED, 1987, sealed)

Chuck, next time click search and then go to the google search available on ilm. It comes up with more--like this one
the new D.C. Go-Go thread
Oh, I've heard the Chuck Brown one and the Sluggo one. Great stuff. I think TTED used to put out Troublefunk stuff.
