A lot of people joke about the corporations dictating the direction of music, but what would it be like if all music was beholden directly to the corporations, singing their praises? Well, wonder no more, friends: Corporate Anthems will make you cringe in fear! It will make you scared for the future! It will make you laugh nervously and avoid patronizing a whole pile of companies! A cringe a minute (or more)!

I always thought 'all mod cons' by the jam sounded like a corporate theme song. The first time I heard it, I waited for the phrase 'Pepsi = the voice of a new generation' at the end.

Just click on the name of the company (the text, not the logo), and that will take you to a lyric sheet. From there you click the line near the top that says "click here to listen". Voila!

If my company had a corporate anthem, it'd probably be something terrible like Party Hard (Andrew WK not Pulp) and then I'd really have to quit.
