Pretty good US post-rock outfit based in Europe. Lotsa tribal drumming. What says ILM?

ILM says their name is too close to Arse for anyone this side of the Atlantic to take them seriously

Glad to see these dudes get a release stateside (tho I'm more partial to the Acuarela EP that came out before Spirit) along w/ some exposure -- saw them at a VFW hall in the middle of CT (homebase!) just before they released the EP, and they were pretty great.

New album "Climb Up" is out shortly on ATP. Seems pretty different from what little I know of their previous work. Anthemic, very melodic, epic rock. My naive wee brain threw out Arcade Fire, Radiohead, even Elbow or U2 comparison... am I mad, foolish, poorly educated and informed, or right?

Yes the new one is very very different. They're not Europe based at all btw, they all live on the East Coast and just happened to first get their stuff released by Acuarela in Spain. Then we re-issued Spirit on ATP/R worldwide and now releasing the new one Climb Up very soon.
