Out of all the internet watercoolery this morning over "Funeral Music," 50 Cent's first volley in a war of words with the purple one, how come no one has bothered to mention just how chill (and so perfectly unassuming for a "warning shot") the instrumental is? A quick email to Sha Money XL reveals that "Funeral Music"'s throwback boom-bap and clever chord progressions are the work of KeyKat, a member of Sha's Money Management Group stable of producers, alongside F30-featured Seattleite Jake One, Nick Speed from Detroit, and more. In all honesty, we're not all that curious to see where this "beef" is going to end up (once bitten, twice shy) but hopefully the beats will stay as on point.
