How do i put playing music in my web page?

Here's an answer- don't! I often surf with CDs playing in my disk drive, or else MP3's playing on my computer, so when people put soundfiles in the background of pages I'm viewing, it F@CKS ME OFF.

Here is a better suggestion- provide a link to the soundfile you want people to listen to, and invite them to listen, rather than forcing them to listen. (you do that the same way you'd make a link to another page, just direct it to the file or whatever)

Otherwise, it's the internet equivalent of standing next to someone who is playing their personal stereo so loud that everyone on the street can hear it.

nah...put some funny sound on repeat. that makes me enjoy pages more. that and really big graphics. go for it!

If you want to put real audio online so people can choose whether they want to listen, you have to make a proxy text file that points to the actual real audio otherwise the file just downloads onto your computer rather than opening RA and playing it.
