Gagaku ensemble works, songs used in Noh theater, etc.

The introduction to this stuff came via certain 20th century composers who were interested themselves and went to compose a few works borrowing elements from this. Are there are any gd series of recordings available that document the music, or any particular musicians that you've enjoyed hearing?
