Pleasure (From Norway): Great new album!

Just thought I'd say I love the new Pleasure album.

It has had sort of a lukewarm reception from Norwegian crtics, but I don't see why. I like this album a lot better than his debut, which was sort of struggling to decide what kind of genre he really wanted to do. This time he does a fully fledged electro album, and he does it well. I am still having trouble coping with people who use a lot of different lead singers on the same album, but I guess Fred Ball cannot sing himself, then, so I am not going to make too much of an issue out of that. Overall, great work!

I really like what I've heard from this album, particularly the Justine Frischman track. Is the guy behind Pleasure based in Norway then?

He is from Norway. I am not sure if he (Fred Ball) lives in Fredrikstad now, or if he has more or less moved to the UK.

What was the debut like? Did he have a similar standard of guest vocalists on that?

The debut was kind of a bit all over the place and lacking in tunes or, well, point. 'Out Of Love' is revealing itself to be a very tidy single, though.

Guest vocals on the debut included Justine Frischmann and Cerys Matthews among others.

Was 'Don't Look The Other Way' on the debut then? Woops. Could you post a tracklist of both albums on here?

two months pass...

"Uptown" is easily the track of the year, so far.

this is great. there just must not be much in the way of promotion for this right now, since no one seems to be talking about it. i don't know. . . i'm not sure if it's out in america or the uk, right now. but, this is just great. i can hardly describe it. you'll do better to just follow that link and hear a song for yourself.
