it is not defunct. and the website is being revamped/redone.

I just got a couple of back issues in the post last week, so I can vouch for its non-defunctness. Though I am disappointed that I can't get it at the newsstand here anymore (it's been missing since March or so -- a problem with international distribution?). It's gonna cost me 10 euro a pop to get it online.
