sous les paves, Wednesday, 28 February 2007 01:34 (nineteen years ago)

I'm always puzzled as to what "live" means with regards to this.

peepee, Wednesday, 28 February 2007 02:36 (nineteen years ago)

Don't they usually announce the line-up 5 days before. What gives?

peepee, Wednesday, 28 February 2007 02:37 (nineteen years ago)

LUCIANO.

Cameron Octigan, Wednesday, 28 February 2007 02:51 (nineteen years ago)

Schedule released:

I wanted to make it out to the Tigers/Indians game while I was in detroit but I don't think there is a bloc of 3 hours that I wouldn't mind missing on there :(

Moodymann:

This year's Movement has been labeled a "minimal festival" -- how do you see yourself fitting in with that?

As long as it's in my city, I don't have to fit, they do.

Andy K, Wednesday, 23 May 2007 19:36 (eighteen years ago)

WORD

BATTAGS, Thursday, 24 May 2007 00:16 (eighteen years ago)

and wasn't *last* year the minimal festival? cos that was hella boring.

BATTAGS, Thursday, 24 May 2007 00:17 (eighteen years ago)

holy crap the 'Soul Skate' KDJ afterparty on saturday night was amazing!

sous les paves, Sunday, 27 May 2007 23:28 (eighteen years ago)

I tried to ask this in the Moodymann thread but I'll try here, anybody know anything about these supposed KDJ ghost productions? I just never saw this as a prevalent thing in the world of Deeeeeeeeeeeeeep House.

And sous les paves, please tell us more about the Soul Skate even though it'll only make me hate you more.

I just got back from the afterparty at masonic. Spank Rock played. A dance mix of Jesus is Just all right was played. It was fun. Too many men.

xpost, apart from Norma Jean Bell I don't know what they could be.

blunt, Monday, 28 May 2007 10:22 (eighteen years ago)

Highlights: Moodymann skate party, The O-Zen lounge next door to the roller rink, being onstage to watch the M500 set (inredible.), Theo Parrish yesterday afternoon get down, watching Jeff Mills from behind + overhead, lots of drinksss, great people, GreekTown, taking photo with D. May, ...

Lowlights:
Missing Rhythm & Sound. Moodymann's live set blah minus the section w/ belly dancers .

Capitaine Jay Vee, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 23:23 (eighteen years ago)

I saw the pictures of the M500 set on RA, and it made me want to don a black hoody immediately. Wish I coulda been there.
