Tell me this 80's song if you don't mind...

There was a song in the 80's, I'm thinking it's a one and done band, but I don't remember enough about it to find it on my own. If I remember correctly it's an inspirational sounding song with the chorus talking about sailing west maybe or wind in the sails, or something about boating and wind and sails and moving forward. I know it was on Top 40 radio in the late 80's, maybe early 90's. It's not Christopher Cross and it's definately not Styx. Anybody have any clue what so ever? Sorry I didn't provide much evidence for the hunt. Thanks for tryin...it's driving me nuts.
