I probably would've said ELO before that commercial came out, but now I'd say The Move just because it's easier on the ears. I do like how The Move's version kinda falls apart right at the end.

oh, really, the Move win. the original version is kind of dirty--not so much sonically, altho that whole era of late Move stuff is strangely recorded, but in its overall effect. I do like ELO's version fine. But I sure love "Do Ya" and "Tonight" and "Down by the Bay" and the Message from the Country record. And I love the Move, in general.

I prefer the ELO version, even if it may be among my least favourite ELO tracks.

The Move were better at the start of their career, way before Jeff Lynne joined (instead, he was making some wonderful and terribly underrated twee psych pop with The Idle Race)
