With matematical precision Mr May and Wynn made a track far away from todays standardrhythms.

Realised in late -90. The 12" version of spasmolytic regards as the hardest industrial track ever made. Close to hell with dark visions.Truly a experimental production.
And after all these years it´s still so far out that I have not heard nothing like it.

A Belleville 3(Atkins, May and Saunderson) collaberation back in summer -86. Lots of latino-percussion with a simply bassline. And the crazy voices of 3 drunk men.
You can even hear the laughes in the studio.

No softness in this record. Is he descibing a nightmare or a utopia? Macine-coded beats with icecold basslines.Chilly reverbs (clinic). And a text that brainwashes you!

This is acid and not! Interference is one fo these forgotten tunes that never ends to impress. Proberly influed of acid Mr Atkins produced this record -88.
Interference have a groovy and wicked bassline which certainly is one of a kind! Ages before software-programming.
However Eletronic don´t reach the same standard.
But O.K. Corral is a uptempo classic technotrack.

As Mr May said: I begun to understand that I had a new thing going on. You can say that It Is What It Is forced dancemusic into a unknown area back in -88.
Together with Beyond the dance (on the b-side) he constructed his typically organic sound.
The track is meltdown of all of the the complex feelings of humanity.
The last 30 seconds of the track is frustating of life!
If you only can take one dancerecord with you to the stars, It Is What It Is will be the best choice. Enfore.

The climax of the first electrowawe in the 80´s.
Derrick May turned the early technoscene to a organic direction one year after "Testing 1-2". And the track got forgotten.
As the other early Model 500 tracks, this is heavy machine-coded electro. Frantic and sharp sounds together with a"typemachine" rhythm.
Yes! You must use the word machine many times to define it.
Testing 1-2 sounds machines singing under a programmers pict. Enfore.

In August -90 Derrick May had already begun to be a living legend in the dancemusic scene.
The Beginnig were certainly a climax of his earlier sucsseses. Many have forgotten today how different the technoscene were in the early years.
This record is a statement over the first technoera. You can hear influences of jazz instead of the earlier macine-coded basslines influed by Front 242. Something changed.
In spring -92 the orginal techno-culture died. We got drugs and hippies instead. Enfore
