Sonar 2007

June 14/15/16. I've never been to Sonar, or even Spain at all, but have (tentative) plans to go. All I know is that the festival is supposed to be great but you can easily go to the surrounding events and see just as many great acts. And there are beaches.

I'd love any tips as to where to stay, travel in general, who's going as well....

Line-up isn't announced until pretty late usually, I always book before its anounced anyway. Tickets are easy to come by and not particularly expensive. The night time stuff can be pretty cool but possibly it's a better idea to go to a club in the city, you'll be spoiled for choice as to what night you want to go to and minimal is really a better club music than huge-ernomo-aircraft-hangar-music. Also you won't have to deal with the fucking annoying crush for the buses at 6am while the MDMA slowly leaves your system. I may end up going to the night time thing though, if there's anything I feel I need to see (I'm thinking they'll probably be some dubstep this year and I probably wouldn't miss that).

If you're going with a few people renting an apartment is the way to go because it's reasonably economic. I've just randomly googled the two times I've been before and got a clean and fairly central apartment for about £120 a head for a week each time, so no problems there.

Also, we've probably done something exactly like this before so google it.
