Which Is A Better Album: WHITESNAKE s/t or SLIP OF THE TONGUE ?

I think the Steve Vai touch on "Slip of the Tongue" is great but the s/t album edges out with a couple of better songs.

John Sykes was a pretty hacky guitarists, though, and makes a lot of Slide it In a total yawn. I'd go with the s/t album all the way.

Doesn't Sykes play lead on most of Whitesnake tho? And good as that album is, I prefer the Carry On early 80s stuff to the FM late 80s stuff. Only just, but still.
