Yeah "Off The Wall" may be MJ's best but actually "Destiny" from 1979 and "Triumph" from 1980 by The Jacksons are even better....

Right from the first time I heard "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" I recognized it as a basically unimaginative (but still funky) retread of "Shake Your Body Down To The Ground" from a half-year earlier. Not as big a hit, but one I preferred and still do. "Blame It On The Boogie" is great too, but I haven't heard the rest of Destiny in years and can't remember how the rest of it measures up. (So why'dya bother to reply, ass?) I do know that Side One of Off The Wall is pretty hard to beat

these 2 were a couple of my favouritye records when i was younger. man the production's easily as good as on OFF THE WALL and yeah it's a flat-out pisstake that they aren't often mentioned in the same breath as the Jackson classics.

it's on record that This Place Hotel (TRIUMPH) was the original song to have that 'hee-hhe...AOW'
typical MJ sound. love these 2 albums to bits. Bless His Soul (DESTINY) and Lovely One (TRIUMPH) also standouts. and *look*! you can buy them together for 7.94 at amazon !

I picked up a 3-fer of Destiny, Triumph, and Victory a while back, but despite loving Destiny I've never gotten around to giving the latter two a listen. I'm sure this is a mistake.

"Triumph" is at least almost as good as "Off The Wall"

However, Michael Jackson's best work is "Thriller", followed by "Bad".
