Weishan is such a nice person. She sent me two cds for Christmas from San Francisco as a Christmas present...the CDs are beautiful and very special..

I am also getting into Bela Bartok right now, after I saw a youtube.com video of keith emerson playing his piece. He must be fabulous.

Sandor re-recorded them all later, those are out now as a 5 CD set I haven't heard -- maybe they're as good as the original recordings, the later box set is definitely more affordable

I did his stuff for O level at school. It was something like "six pieces" of a whole series increasing in complexity. One was quie gershwiny.

Weishan is a great composer and musician...

I love asian classical music and I think it is just as good as western music.

alot of people are not used to listening to Asian Classical music..
but George Winston loves her and so do I.

The Chinese Gu Zheng is one of my favourite instruments...

I know own three gu Zheng albums..hoping to get more..after I some more Koto records...

and I want to get another kornog album.

bela is a difficult composer to master.

I tried to check out the links that jon posted...but one of them didn't work for me...

i will try later....

I listened to some of Bela's music..so far I love the one from the Barbarian..ELP....

and I sure there is more where that one comes from...
