I've recently been listening to the Inspirals for the first time in ages. All their 12"s & EPs up through Life-era tracks are generally fantastic. The later records lacked the rhythmic simplicity of their early stuff, which is what I like best about their sound (other than the Hammonds obv).

^ 'Keep the Circle Around' was the one Inspirals song I really liked. Wouldn't have sounded out of place on a Flying Nun comp. A+++ song. No-one else on this thread mentions it though.
