Bands Like Blonde Redhead

With all the talk about their upcoming album "23", I've been looking around for similar bands. I'm thinking more about their material from Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons onward (plenty of groups do their earlier, noisier, Sonic Youth sound). Any suggestions?

the song "23" reminds me of radiohead's "where i end and you begin" (for the drums) crossed with my bloody valentine's "soon" (for the guitar)

my first reaction to marnie stern, referred by a few ppl on a ilm thread about recent stuff worth listening to, was how much it made me think of blonde redhead, and how curious it was that basically I can't listen to stuff like that anymore . same with deerhoof, to a lesser degree, I think.
